We are now at a point in history where it has been made quite apparent that the recolonization of Afrika is in full swing.
I, Quique Cruz, wrote & recorded this song to uplift the spirits of Afrikan people… on the continent… and in the diaspora.
I invited long time friend & traditional Afrikan drumming instructor Jah-Amen Mobley, brother to the legendary Leon Mobley, to help me give this song a REAL Afrikan feel. And that’s exactly what he did. Shout out to Knox Stedy for coming through with the beat.
